Webtoon Slicer

Split long webtoon and manhwa strips into separate pages at the blank gutters. Runs in your browser, nothing is uploaded.

Drop a webtoon strip here

One image or several, PNG, JPG or WEBP. Several images are sliced in filename order.

Large strips can be slow on phones, and very large ones may not open there at all. A computer handles them best.

How it works

01

Find the gutters

Each row of pixels is checked. A run of at least 20 rows in one flat colour (white, black or any other) is a gutter.

02

Cut in the middle

Every cut goes through the middle of a gutter, so panels and speech bubbles stay whole.

03

Save the pages

Pages are numbered 001.png, 002.png and so on, in order. Download them one by one or as a ZIP.

Limits

  • Gutters must be flat. Art that runs edge to edge with no gap is not cut unless you set a Max page height.
  • A flat area inside a panel, such as a plain sky as wide as the strip, looks like a gutter and may be cut. Raise Min gap if that happens.
  • Scanned paper has grain and uneven white. Try a Tolerance of 20 to 40.

FAQ

Is the Webtoon Slicer free?

Yes. The slicer is free to use, with no account and no watermark on the pages.

Are my images uploaded?

No. The image is decoded and sliced by your browser on your computer, and the pages are saved from there. No image data is sent to our server or anywhere else.

What sizes and formats work?

PNG, JPG and WEBP. Tall strips work on a computer; the image is read in bands, so a strip can be much taller than a browser canvas allows. Very large images can fail on phones, which have less memory. If that happens, use a computer or the Python script.

Can it cut through art?

Not with the default settings: cuts only go through flat gutters. If you set a Max page height, a panel taller than that is cut at its flattest row, which may go through art, and the tool tells you when it does.

Only slice chapters you have the right to use. This tool works on files you already have; it does not download comics.
